Occ Summary

Perform a variety of nonprofessional nu rsingdutphysician and nurses with physical examinations by helpingpositi onpatients, changing non-sterile dressing and weighing patients.Take and recordrocedures to patients including,but not limited to, feeding, bath ing,shassisting withambulation, enemas, skin care, and bowel and bladder elimination;provide such additional care as required to meet the person alneeg knowledge of procedures and techniques involved in administeringroutine and special treatments to patientsWorking knowledge of sanitation ,perifting and the ability to transport stretcher and wheelchairpatients tovarious hospital locations may be requiredAbility to understand and fo llaving, changing clothing,cleaningand trimming fingernails, bed-making ,ow oral and written instructionsAbility to document and communicate per tics

Completion of a Leve l I - Nurse Aide education program approved by theNorth Carolina Board o f Nursing or successful completionof the NC -approved Nurse Aide I com petency test.High School diploma or equivalent required.
