We are seeking a skilled and experienced Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon (OMS) to join our dedicated healthcare team within the Greater Los Angeles VA Healthcare System, Sepulveda CA. The ideal candidate will be proficient in all aspects of oral and maxillofacial surgery, including:

  • Dentoalveolar procedures
  • Complex dental extractions
  • Treatment of orofacial infections and trauma
  • Preprosthetic surgery
  • Placement of osseointegrated implants
  • Diagnosis and treatment of temporomandibular dysfunction
  • Surgical reconstruction of acquired or developmental facial anomalies
  • Orthognathic surgery
  • Various grafting procedures

Additionally, the surgeon will perform functional and cosmetic procedures such as:

  • Rhinoplasty
  • Septoplasty
  • Blepharoplasty
  • Treatment of cosmetic defects resulting from service-related trauma

Key Responsibilities:

  • Expertise in assessment, diagnosis, surgical treatment, and post-treatment care across all aspects of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery.
  • Provide high-quality care in a collaborative, patient-centered environment.

Qualifications:

  • Board certification in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery
  • Proven surgical experience and proficiency in the aforementioned procedures
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Commitment to delivering compassionate, patient-focused care

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, Full-time, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm

Requirements:

  • United States Citizenship
  • Unrestricted license
  • Degree of Doctor of Dental Surgery or Dental Medicine
  • Completion of residency program in general practice or specialty
  • BC/BE Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (OMS

Benefits & Features:

Competitive Salary Range: $250,000-$325,000, Final Salary determination within this range.

PTO: 50-55 days of paid time off per year (26/13 days of annual/sick leave respectively, 11 paid Federal holidays annually)
